Location:Cadiz City (48 kilometers north of Bacolod City)
The island can be reached by a 20-minute boat ride from the coast of Barangay Cadiz Viejo. Because it is close to Bacolod, you could just leave in the morning and come back home in the afternoon.
Lakawon is a small white-sand island. Half of it is inhabited by people while the other half is spared for the resort.
There are many small beach cottages along the shore ranging from P200 to P1000. If you want to stay there overnight, you may rent a room, air-conditioned or not, from P700 to P2500 depending on your preferences.
The island has its own small store, more of a bar, where you could buy snacks, drinks and other things you may need while staying there. They also serve meals.
