Bacolod is the capital city of the province of Negros Occidental, a province right at the center of The Philippine Archipelago. It has a total land area of 16,145 hectares. The city is composed of 61 Barangays.

Bacolod, the City of Smiles, is a home to almost half a million people. It is the commercial center of the province.
